How Custom Development Works

Every custom project starts with a mutual NDA, followed by a development brief covering texture, actives, positioning, and any regulatory market you're targeting.

"Sample rounds" refer to formula revisions on paper, meaning the formula itself gets refined and finalised, not a physical sample. We don't manufacture physical samples or finished product. Once your formula is signed off, you'll need your own manufacturer to actually produce it. See our Design & Packaging page for help finding one.

  • Base Modification: 1 development round, 1-2 weeks turnaround.
  • Full Custom: up to 2 sample rounds, 3-4 weeks turnaround, full IP transfer on final sign-off.
  • Annual Partner: 5 formulas across 12 months, booked as you need them, with priority scheduling ahead of one-off projects.
  • Full Range Development & Support: an ongoing monthly retainer for developing and refining a complete product range, with continued feedback and troubleshooting support included. It runs on a 6-month minimum term, since a full range is built up progressively rather than in one sitting.
